When Josh Fox receives a $100,000 offer from a natural gas company interested in exploring in his land in Pennsylvania’s Delaware River Basin, he decides to do his own research on drilling and the process known as fracking.
Josh sets out to interview those who live near drilling sites, and his findings are frightening — their wells contaminated, residents can actually set their tap water on fire. Visits to sites in Colorado, Wyoming and Texas yield similar horrific findings.
A must see Documentary!
‘Independent documentary isn’t beholden to some of the interests that the mainstream media are influenced by. It’s a pathway to renegade, independent reporting in an in-depth, investigative fashion, and it can do so with a compassionate lens; it allows people to speak in a way that is more human than the mainstream media approach’ – Josh Fox

‘Gasland is a very shocking and important film. I suppose that is why it already has its detractors trying to smear the documentary. Debunking sites, debunking threads and 1 star reviews on IMDb have begun before a wider audience can get a chance to see this film.’ – Anon
