The UK is set to introduce the compulsory wearing of face masks in Shops as of July 24th.
Shoppers who fail to adhere to the new rules will be forced to pay up a £100 fine. The new rules will be enforced by the Police.
Only young children or those with certain disabilities will be exempt from the new mandate.
Retailers themselves will not be expected to enforce the law, however they will be expected to give adequate advice and ensure all those entering the premises are advised to wear them
Just forget the statements made by the UK Government only two months ago when they said that there really was no point wearing a face mask as they offer little to no protection. Pretend they did not say that.
