Ireland is temporarily suspending use of the AstraZeneca vaccine after fears over blood clotting.
This decision comes on the back of the Norwegian Medicines Agency reporting four cases of serious blood clotting in adults following vaccination.
Of course the UK’s MRHA is ploughing aimlessly ahead and without any hesitation after disregarding the blood clotting reports as an issue.
No scientific link has been made between the vaccine and the blood clotting, but precaution should be paramount when using experimental vaccines that have been rushed through all stages of the testing and authoriaztion process for emergency use.
Dr Glynn stressed “it has not been concluded that there is any link between the Covid-19 vaccine AstraZeneca and these cases”.
“However, acting on the precautionary principle, and pending receipt of further information, the National Immunisation Advisory Committee (NIAC) has recommended the temporary deferral of the Covid-19 vaccine AstraZeneca vaccination programme in Ireland,” he said in a statement. – Belfast Telegraph[1]
As you would expect the whol situation is being downplayed as nothing more than coincidence, after all this is a pandemic of coincidences.
“an analysis of our safety data that covers reported cases from more than 17 million doses of vaccine administered has shown no evidence of an increased risk of pulmonary embolism, deep vein thrombosis or thrombocytopenia with Covid-19 Vaccine AstraZeneca”.
“In fact, the reported numbers of these types of events for Covid-19 Vaccine AstraZeneca are not greater than the number that would have occurred naturally in the unvaccinated population,” the spokesperson said. – Belfast Telegraph[1]
We’ll see how this develops, I predict the whole thing will be disregarded within 24 – 48 hours and Ireland will once again commence vaccination of the AstraZeneca Vaccine, but we’ll see.
