UPDATE: It seems according to the Bexsero webiste that clinical trials have now taken place on two year olds. http://www.bexsero.co.uk/healthcare-professional/evidence-for-bexsero-2.htm
The information for some reason still doesn’t appear in the Vaccine insert but the data is now available online.
The new Meningitus Vaccine from Bexsero was approved back in 2012 by the FDA as safe for use. Most of Europe has so far decided to not add the Vaccine to their current Vaccination program.
However the UK Government have decided to start giving the Vaccine to all babies from two months old in September 2015.
What the UK Government have failed to inform the public of though is that this Vaccine has not been tested on Children under the age of 10.
8.4 Pediatric Use Safety and effectiveness of BEXSERO have not been established in children younger than 10 years of age.
So the UK new generation of Babies will effectively be the guinea pigs to test the product without informed consent.
Additionally there is this statement from the vaccine insert:
13 NONCLINICAL TOXICOLOGY BEXSERO
Has not been evaluated for carcinogenic or mutagenic potential or impairment of male fertility
Today it has been announced that ‘Meningitus Vaccine ‘will cause fever’
Babies who are about to be given the new meningitis vaccine are likely to suffer a fever that can last several days, Public Health England is warning parents.
But then if you check the Vaccine reaction charts from the manufacturers insert we see that only a couple reports of a mild fever were present in all all of the test subjects, this should ring alarm bells as it totally contradicts the latest statement that babies will most likely get fever and there for the adverse reactions results are void and irrelevant in the case of vaccinating babies.
Finally there is the usual problem that all the studies were concluded after the usual one year period, so any side affects which may take longer than this period to develop are unknown.
Please read the data from the Manufacturers insert provided on the FDA website. Please if you have any doubts don’t be rushed into vaccinating purely down to pressure from Friends, Family or your GP.
