So of course as we predicted the haunting image of the child Aylan Kurdi washed up dead on the beach as triggered the UK Government to reconsider their ‘non-intervention’ status regarding Syria. David Cameron announced on Thursday that the blame for this huge displacement of people is down to Assad & ISIS. Talks of military action into Syria and wait for it Libya will begin on Monday.
According to sources, ministers intend to argue that the mission to defeat IS now has to turn to Syria, and that the UK should play a role in that effort.
Describing the government’s plans to increase its military involvement in the region, a source said: “The government is essentially posing a question: Could we do more? Should we do more? But Syria is where the fight should be taken to.”
The government will start to make a case for UK military action in Syria next week, the BBC understands.

The BBC laters goes onto say:
Another source added: “The government will say the campaign in Iraq has been a success. IS has been degraded, land has been taken back. Some of their leaders have been killed. But the problem is across the border in Syria.”
Two years ago MPs rejected possible UK military action against Syrian President Bashar al-Assad’s government.
Military action on Syria was voted down two years ago with a strong opposition by both parliament and the general public, however with events of the last few days and the increasing number of immigrants we are going to see over the next 6 months and beyond a purpose for military action in Syria has been found.
Will they have the public behind them this time?
Most likely, people across the World have all seen the images from the last few days and understandably everybody is effected and angry at the situation. No one can deny ISIS have played a huge part in this huge displacement of people across the middle east, however what many people are still struggling to accept is how a group such as ISIS have come to exist in the first place.
Its all obvious to most our audience and repeating ourselves almost feels insulting, but we have to hope that even if just one new person is reached for every article stating the reality for what it is it will eventually become ‘common knowledge’ to the majority, rather than the minority.
Since 2003, Anglo-American power has secretly and openly coordinated direct and indirect support for Islamist terrorist groups linked to al-Qaeda across the Middle East and North Africa. This ill-conceived patchwork geostrategy is a legacy of the persistent influence of neoconservative ideology, motivated by longstanding but often contradictory ambitions to dominate regional oil resources, defend an expansionist Israel, and in pursuit of these, re-draw the map of the Middle East.
