We have been talking about this for some time, now however it would seem the Mainstream news has latched onto this major flaw in the numbers relating to the ongoing COVID19 fiasco.
The New York Post reports:
The federal government is classifying the deaths of patients infected with the coronavirus as COVID-19 deaths, regardless of any underlying health issues that could have contributed to the loss of someone’s life.
A Fox News contributor by the name of Dr. Michael Baden, said it’s reasonable to include the death of someone infected with the virus, who also had other health issues, in the COVID-19 body count.
“In the normal course, autopsies would then determine whether the person died of the effects of the COVID virus, whether the person had a brain tumor or brain hemorrhage, for example, that might be unrelated to it and what the relative significance of both the infection and the pre-existing disease is,” Baden went on to say.
“Then you will include in those numbers some people who did have a pre-existing condition that would have caused death anyway,”
He did say however that this number is ‘probably’ relatively small.
Most countries have now updated their advice on filling in death certificates, such as this one in the UK which states:
‘If before death the patient had symptoms typical of COVID-19 infection, but the test result has not been received, it would be satisfactory to give ‘COVID-19’ as the cause of death, tick Box B and then share the test result when it becomes available.In the circumstances of there being no swab, it is satisfactory to apply clinical judgement’
As you can see, it is going to be relatively easy for many patients deaths to fall under the COVID-19 label. Similar advice can be found in all new updated advisory literature around the World.
Add this likely over estimate of deaths to the severely underestimated amount of cases and we have an even lower mortality rate. The mortality rate has been dropping for some time, we expect the final value to be somewhere in the region of <0.2%.
