We reported about this proposal over two years ago when the proposal first came into the public eye, well now the verdict is out and the result is as we predicted – good to go!
Federal antitrust regulators have granted agribusiness giants Bayer and Monsanto permission to merge after the two companies agreed to spin off $9 billion worth of assets, the largest such sale of corporate assets ever required by the Department of Justice. – The Washington Post
The $9Billion in assets being sold off by bayer are there seed and digital farming business in an attempt to ensure this new merger doesn’t monopolise these markets, though this small sell off is unlikely to achieve this safeguard.
This merger though is not a worry because of competition rules and monopolisation of an industry, it is a worry because what we now have two of the Worlds most morally corrupt corporations joining forces to dominate the World with their genetic modification and toxic pesticides:
Bayer has defended the deal as the surest way to increase agricultural productivity as the world’s population grows, citing Monsanto’s advantage in plant genetics and Bayer’s portfolio of pesticides and other chemicals. – The Washington Post
Lets not forget Bayer is the same Bayer that experimented on Auschwitz camp prisoners:
The IG Auschwitz factory was not the only place where human testing was being conducted on victims. IG Farben had its own concentration camp. There, tested vaccines and chemicals were applied to both sick and healthy individuals, in the form of injections, pills, enemas and powders. Many fell seriously ill or died as a result of these tests.
Bayer bought many of these prisoners from the Auschwitz camp. Letters have been found written between the two organisations regarding the buying of 150 inmates, who were to be used for the testing of a new sleeping pill. The women were bought at 170 RM (Reichsmark) each, and records show they were in a satisfactory condition, despite being emaciated. – Warhistoryonline.com
And those good old boys over at Monsanto are the same corporation responsible for Agent Orange which was used in operation ‘Ranch Hand’ by the US military in the Vietnam War left over 3 million people with health problems and ongoing birth defects in children to this very day. Monsanto is also responsible for Glyphosate, known to many as Round-up. This carcinogenic chemical is the most widely used pesticide on planet earth and also the because of this the most widely detectable man-made compound found in all areas of our World, from the Water supply through to mothers breast milk.
The crimes against humanity that these two companies have committed is a list without ending and now they are as one, united in power, united in wealth and united in evil.
